Voldemort doesn't exist, but in his place a new Dark Lord has emerged instead. However, clueless of this event, the trio attends their sixth year at Hogwarts and everything is going well...but not for long.

Sixteen Years Later
The year is 2014 and all is going well in the wizarding world...or is it? With the help of former Death Eaters and a hidden 7th horcrux, the Marauder's Map, Voldemort plans on returning again for his ultimate revenge. That's right.
Sadly, as much fun as it is, 3-4 people can't keep a site going. So, since we are such stubborn, determined people, I suggest we do a few things:
1. Delete ALL inactive profiles. The aim of the game is to get this place looking as nice and new-like as possible. (although we may want to send a mass E-MAIL to the members, to see if they have just forgotten the site or some such, and warn them that their account is in danger of being deleted. Give them 2 weeks. If they don't log on, BOOM, bye-bye account.)
2. Delete ALL old threads, or move them to one place. We don't need them cluttering up the board. This goes for old accepted profiles as well.
3. We clean up out affiliation thread-thing at the bottom of the side tables- it looks messy and cluttered with the 'This image or video has been moved or deleted.' And see if those sites are actually active. If not, then the affiliation will not do anyone any good.
4. I must ask you this. Why, WHY are the ONLY affiliations we have Hogwarts related? A bit counter productive,don't you think? The people on those sites already HAVE a place to talk about, and RP Harry Potter-like goodness. The only way HF is gonna get ANY attention from these people is if the site they are on has DIED, and are in need of a new one.
5. Character claim list= cleaned up.
6. Um, not that I particularly minded the joining app, you may want to loosen it up a bit, since many people have very little patience for joining apps of HF's standards. Just saying. Cause on one of the sites, there is no app. The only reason you have to wait is because you have to be placed into your house. And that place is CRAWLING with members <.<
So, how do fix that problem? Don't worry, darling Risika has the answer here. Simple, we affiliate with sites NON Harry-potter related sites. X-men, Evermore, Horse, wolf, twilight (ew, but whatever), House of Night, Vampires, Werewolves, Cats, dogs, deer, etc. Notice anything in common? Not Harry potter. So if they are on this Horse site, for instance, and they want to RP on a Harry Potter site, they stare at the affiliations and then, BAM! What do you know? We float across the screen, s/he clicks it, they come here, think 'hey, this site looks cool, it's active, I'll join.'
Then *cackles* we have snared another into out web of total awesomeness. See? Everybody wins

I like...I like. Now, we just have to get the admins to go along with it. Although, I have a few things to say.
Half of the Portkeys, when you click on them, say 'An error has occured. The thread you are trying access does not exist.' You have to physically hunt down each link. That needs to be fixed ASAP for any new members that come across this site.
I personally didn't think Hogwarts Flipendo's application was all that bad, personally. I've seen harsher.
If you update or change your display name...people, please make a note in the Face Claim list saying something to the effect of:
Old display name: Harry Snape New display name: Harry Snape-Potter
That was my example. But this way, the Face Claim list shows everyone's current name. I really can't stress this one enough.
