A lot had happened in the past few days. Everything seemed to be working in his favor. And although he would have rather done things the hard way, he wasn't going to complain about the outcome. No, he ultimately had what he wanted. Lily. It had taken him the better part of a lifetime, but it was worth the wait. But he wanted to see Snape's face. He wanted to see his face pale with anger. Sure, he may have had her first and he was 'left with the seconds' as the slim ball had put it, but he won. Snape was left with nothing. He wanted to see Snape's agony as his children bonded with him. He wanted Snape to see that he had messed up, that's what he wanted to him realize. But if Snivellus had given in so easily to begin with. That would mean ther would ahve to be some 'provoking' on his part.

Which was fine with him. James had no problem provoking the idiot. He had no problem with tormenting him. And now that they were older, they didn't have to stop in fear of 'being expelled'. James had nothing to lose... Well, he did now. He had Lily, and her children now. Yes, he would have to play it smart for them.

Feeling cramped in his room, he left. Lily was supposed to arrive soon, so he didn't want to go to far. But at the same time, he couldn't stand staying cooped up in the room. And well, he could do with some fresh air. Making up his mind, he headed towards the school. He would meet Lily. As he was walking, he spotted Lily walking around, lost in her own little world. He smiled, coming up to her. "Someone is looking extremely beautiful this evening." he said to her. He wrapped his arms around her, placing a hand lightly on her baby bump. True, the baby was not his, but he loved it anyways.

James smiled as he looked at her. Her never ending beauty was a beacon of light in his world, her smile more radiant than the sun. He returned the all to brief kiss as he held her to him, mindful of her small baby bump. He blinked, looking at her as she opened her mouth repeatedly, severely reminding him of a fish out of water. The corners of his lips twitched upward in his signature smirk as he arched one brow, watching her.

When she nodded her in confirmation of whatever it was she was deciding, he nodded his head to slightly, his mouth opening in a smile as he looked at her. "Will you tell me what it is, Love?" he asked. He was rather amused by her antics, finding them extremely adorable.

He watched her, silent as she gave him her proposition. His hazel optics widened at he proposal. He blinked rapidly, as if to make sure she was actually serious about her decision. He searched her face, finally landing on her eyes. His face slowly broke out into an excited smile, before nodding his head vigorusly. "I would love to call this baby my own! Being a father is one thing I've always wanted. To show a child the same love and dedication my parents showed me." he said, clearly ecstatic about the idea. "Have you thought of a name for her?"

He smiled, returning the kiss and letting her know only a fraction of the love he felt for her in it. There was no way a simple kiss -or any gesture for that matter- could discribe how much he loved the woman standing before him. He chuckled slightly as he held her, perfectly content right there with her in his arms. "What are you thanking me for? I should be the one to thank you." he said.

He longed for a child of his own. One of his own flesh and blood. But that would have to wait until after she had this baby and if she decided she wanted another. After all, having three was going to be a challenge in itself. Add another... and well. James knew he himself was ready for it. But that wasn't up to himself. "A name will come to you in time. Don't fret over it. And stop stressing, it's not good for you or the baby." he said.

His shoulder's stiffened slightly. She had been fighting with Severus? Anger and hatred flashed through his eyes before quickly vanishing as he locked those emotinos away. "What was Snape doing? He didn't harm you in any way did he?" he asked. If Snivellus so much as laid a finger on her, he would pay. He wouldn't let that slim ball anywhere near Lily or her children.
